Membership and listings

Applications are individually reviewed before publication. Membership is free, but submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

You must be authorized to represent your business and provide accurate, current information about its services and approach to welcoming pets. Approved members may update their listings without approval for every edit and remain responsible for those changes.

Your content and photographs

You are responsible for the information and photographs you submit. Only upload content you own or have permission to use, including the photographer’s copyright permission and any necessary permissions from identifiable people shown.

You retain ownership of your content. By submitting it, you give Pawfect Witness limited, non-exclusive permission to store, resize, crop, and display it for your Community listing and the operation of the Community. This does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising use.

Keep content relevant, accurate, and respectful. Do not submit misleading claims, unlawful material, discriminatory or harassing content, or information that infringes another person’s rights or privacy.

Approval and moderation

Pawfect Witness may reasonably reject applications, edit listing content, hide or remove inappropriate material, suspend or remove listings, or end membership where information is inaccurate, these guidelines are breached, or other legitimate concerns arise.

We may hide content promptly while reviewing a concern. Where appropriate, we will contact you to explain the issue or request a correction.

Beyond Pet Friendly Acknowledgement

Community membership and Beyond Pet Friendly Acknowledgement are separate.

Acknowledgement considers three guiding principles:

Respect & Understanding: Recognizing the bond between couples and their pets, and understanding the wishes and personal significance behind including them in a wedding.

Animal Awareness: Recognizing that animals have individual needs, comfort levels, and boundaries that deserve consideration.

Thoughtful & Responsible Practice: Making reasonable adjustments, communicating expectations, and supporting pet participation responsibly within their professional role.

Applicants should explain how their business goes beyond simply allowing pets, preferably with a practical example. Pawfect Witness reviews requests individually and may grant, decline, or revoke Acknowledgement. Neither membership nor submitting a request automatically grants it.

Acknowledgement is not professional certification, a service guarantee, or a general endorsement.

Independent businesses

Community members operate independently. A listing does not certify, endorse, or guarantee a business’s services. Couples should discuss suitability, pet arrangements, pricing, and booking terms directly with each business. Pawfect Witness is not a party to those bookings.

Leaving the Community

Membership is voluntary. To close your membership or request listing removal, email [email protected]. After verifying your authority, we will promptly unpublish your listing and handle account information under our Privacy Policy.
